Steven brings over 20 years’ experience managing projects across Alaska and the Yukon. He excels in coordinating resources and ensuring timely project completion in remote logistics, heavy construction, solar, and mining, tree management, content creation, and trades education services.
From a Battery Storage Foundation on Kodiak Island to Your Backyard
This summer, Steven led construction of the reinforced concrete foundation for a 999 kWh battery energy storage system on Kodiak Island — critical infrastructure for the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium, built to stamped structural drawings under Engineer-of-Record oversight. When excavation uncovered a former community landfill mid-project, that meant real-time engineering coordination and a relocated foundation footprint — not guesswork. The job also meant training a local crew from scratch and keeping full inspection-ready QA records: compaction, rebar, pour temperatures, slump tests.
